Djim is an honors graduate of the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, where he studied all aspects of audio engineering, including spotting/editing dialog and sfx to video as well as mixing, ADR and Foley recording. He has also attended workshops at Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts (Hollywood Sound for Picture) and StudentFilmmakers, in New York (Production Audio). Within the last 3 years, he has been working with a few local, independent film makers as a boom operator, sound recordist and as a post-production sound editor/mixer. He has also worked as both an engineer and producer on a number of local and national recording artists’ CD projects. After many years living in central Massachusetts, he moved to York, Maine in 2008. |
