I am a songwriter, music publisher, and performer, and I released my first studio EP length CD in April of 2008. I’ve recently placed two songs, written specially for the project, in “The Way It Is: The State of Journalism in Maine”, a documentary film produced by Dr. Sunny Skye Hughes of the UMaine Orono Communications Dept. I’ve been writing songs, collaborating with other Maine artists, and performing in and around southern Maine since I moved to Portland in 2003. I am passionate about promoting original Maine folk and acoustic music! I have developed a catalog of great roots, acoustic, and folk music, written by my friends in the Maine music scene, and I’m eager to work with independent film producers to help them find the acoustic music they need for their projects. I’m the immediate past president of the Maine Songwriters Association, and have been on the board of trustees of the Portland Music Foundation. I have a great network of Maine-based songwriters and musicians, and I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can about independent film.
All the best to you and your projects!
