Volunteers sought for a film shoot on Vinalhaven island

We are students at Columbia University, shooting a feature in fulfillment of the MFA program. We seek PAs who can work with us in Rockland and/or on the island of Vinalhaven between February 12th and March 7th, 2011. The positions are unpaid, though we can offer delicious meals and an excellent learning experience in a fun yet professional environment. We are hoping to find people whose schedules permit them to work both during the week and on weekends.

Please visit the film’s website here: http://noreasterfilm.com/.

Simply put the film is about faith. It deals with a priest and a family who’s 15 year old son, missing since he was 10, suddenly returns home.

If interested, please contact:

Intern sought for Sharp Entertainment

My name is Andria, and I’m a production coordinator for Sharp Entertainment in NYC. We’re sending a crew up to Portland, ME to film a show for Travel Channel on July 3, 5, and 6, and we’re looking for 2 - 3 production interns to help. Our internship positions are unpaid, but they would be wonderful for college students or recent graduates who are looking for a quick three days of experience on a popular, fast-paced documentary-style television shoot.

Our production interns are going to help with a wide-range of tasks like setting up gear, gathering releases, possibly filming some b-roll, helping to take promotional stills, etc. We will provide our interns lunch every day. There will be absolutely zero obligation on the 4th of July holiday, so this is perfect for a student or recent grad who is going to be grounded in Portland over the Independence Day weekend.

If any of your members are interested, they can submit a brief cover letter and resume to me at andria at sharpentertainment dot com.
