I have rented Reggie Groff’s doorway dolly and it was great!  I used it on a Colby Museum piece.  I set the wheels so that when I pulled the dolly the camera and operator (Chad Diamond) made a complete circle around a sculpture.  He was able to zoom in, de-focus and pan all while in motion.  Amazing results!

Much easier to tote around than a jib, cheaper than a steadycam, anyone can operate it and it’s quite portable.
