Join the 2010 Maine African Film Festival (MAFF) — a celebration of the people and culture of Africa. The Maine African Film Festival grew from the success of an African film mini-series held in August, 2008 with support from the Portland Public Library, the Museum of African Culture and the New York African Film Festival. The Maine African Film Festival is a program of the African Cultural Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting cross-cultural literacy, communication, appreciation and understanding between people of post-colonial African culture and the non-African public.
