Why are we celebrating risk? Risk is the catalyst for change.
We tend to celebrate, to honor, things that remind us of milestones, comfort and of success. Anniversaries, holidays, birthdays; events and times we’ve experienced something that has made an impact on our lives. But all those events started because of a risk that was taken. A risk, an action, that may have led to loss or gain. We may celebrate a victory, but that victory came at the risk of losing. We may celebrate an anniversary, but that anniversary came at the risk of choosing one road over another. We tend to celebrate the good effects of what risk can bring, but often times cringe when we hear the word “risk”.
It’s time to change that around and start celebrating what actually brings about the reason for a celebration. So we’re reaching out and asking you – how do you visualize risk? What does a life look like when risk is celebrated? Where does risk lead us? Who do you see taking wise risks? How can risk be celebrated?
