How much does it cost ?
There are two parts to the Expo, Day Session and Evening session.
$20 admission to morning/afternoon session (9:00 to 5:00)
Includes seminars, screenings, and Exhibition Hall
Film submissions will cost $50 for features, $25 for short films (up to 30 minutes)
$20 admission to evening session (7:00 to 10:00)
Includes Networking Party and Concert
$30 admission to both sessions (includes DiBacco Films roundtable open filmmaking discussion - 5:00 to 7:00)
Access to the exhibitors is FREE with all admissions
A ONE OF A KIND EVENT for Filmmakers, Producers, Actors, Crew, Models, Photographers, Directors and Writers from around New England, to network and showcase their work. Filmmakers Learn how to EDIT a ‘TRAILER’ and author a ‘SCREENER’ that will SELL your film to distributors. Help support the production of ‘Back to the Beyond’. More details and to be announced in the coming weeks.
FILM SCREENING CONSULTATION:
Entries will be prescreened. Films will be screened and critqued. Consultation on ALL films. Simple feedback as to what is needed to prepare each film for DISTRIBUTORS and ACQUISITION DIRECTORS. A small entry fee will be required. A full report is available as well packaging your film for submission to one of our distributors (additional charge).
Feature Films- Under 120 minutes ($50 Submission Charge)
Short Films- Under 20 minutes ($25 Submission charge)
Accepting submissions in January 2010. Admission is limited, first come, first serve.
HEADSHOT ALLEY:
A presentation area for Actors, Actresses & Models to provide their Headshot/Resume for Producers, Directors, Filmmakers and Photographers that attend the Expo. ‘Headshot Alley’ space is free with the price of admission or $20 without attending.
CLASSES/WORKSHOPS:
Filmmakers and Producers spend thousands of dollars on seminars and DVD’s taught by people that never even sold a movie!! Our affordable workshops will focus on SELLING & DISTRIBUTION of a completed film. Making a living, making movies is what all people is this business really want. Making a film is hard, Selling your film is almost impossible, unless you know your way around the system.. Creative Screenwriting Magazines Guest Speaker, Filmmaker & Consultant Kevin DiBacco will discuss the process of selling a film to a worldwide audience.
Morning Class- (11am) Editing & Preparing your Trailer & Screener.
Afternoon Class- (3pm) Preparing your Film & Marketing Package to send.
EXHIBITORS/SUPPORT SERVICES:
Space is available now! Businesses are invited to show off their Product or Service during the Expo. Space/Tables will be available for Exhibitors Free of Charge as a way to network and help everyone find the products or services they need to get their projects done. Space available for anything related to film/video production, space request form below.

Networking Party for guests and supporters to learn more about ‘Back to the Beyond’ a New England Paranormal Film. Meet the Cast , Producers, Writer, Crew. You can become involved in this New England Made feature film that will be released Internationally in more than 50 countries. Details TBA.
DIRECTING MENTOR/JOB SHADOW PROGRAM:
Over 300 applications were submitted for this position. We are now in the selection process.
The Mission of the New England Independent Film Expo is to provide a networking platform for individiuals, businesses and organizations that contribute to the cultural and economic success of New England through the local production of films, television programming, new media, music and all other creative arts and artists.
The Key to Selling a Commercial Movie is making it look like it’s Professionally done. Good script, Good acting, Great Lighting, Great Audio, Dolly Moves, Clean Edits are all part of the formula.
